Meet Dr. Morton & Staff
Dr Joseph E. Morton, DMD
Dr. Joseph E. Morton is a native of Northern Ohio and graduated from Woodridge High School in Peninsula, OH. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Chemistry along with a minor in mathematics in 1979 from Kentucky Wesleyan College, where he was a James Graham Brown Scholar. He was a member of Kentucky Wesleyan's Covenant Order of Oak and Ivy, one of the highest honors bestowed on students who exhibit spiritual leadership, intellectual ability, and strength in character. He then received a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Kentucky in 1983. Dr. Morton began his private practice in Henderson, Kentucky in 1983. He has an impeccable eye for aesthetics and is passionate about creating beautiful smiles. Dr. Morton is currently affiliated with American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and Spear Study Club.
Dr. Morton has been married to his wife, Lynn, since July 1994 and they are the proud parents of four children; Drake, Dylan, Lilly, and Lucie. They make their home in Henderson and share it with their four-legged children Annie (a Golden Doodle) and Ricky (a Yorkie). He is a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. When not at the office, he enjoys watching college football (especially The Ohio State Buckeyes) and spending time with family.
Lynn has been with Morton Family Dentistry since 1995. She is a native of Union County Kentucky. She graduated from Union County High School. Lynn attended Henderson Community College and University of Southern Indiana. Lynn states what she loves most about her job is building and establishing relationships with all our patients.
Lynn has been married to Dr. Morton since 1994 and they have four children: Drake, Dylan, Lilly, and Lucie. She is a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Lynn has been an advocate for individuals with special needs and Autism. She has a deep passion for the special population to be included and accepted. When not at the office, Lynn enjoys spending time with her family, reading, decorating, and exercising.
Emily has been with Morton Family Dentistry since 2020. Emily is from Logansport, Indiana where she graduated from Pioneer Jr.-Sr. High. She moved to Evansville to attend University of Southern Indiana. Emily is a 2020 graduate from University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and a Minor in Psychology. She enjoys the personal relationships she forms with patients and being able to help with their dental needs.
Emily currently lives in Evansville with her boyfriend and their dog children, Maverick, and Maple. When not at work, Emily enjoys going to church, walking her dog, spending time with family, and traveling.
Maddie started with Morton Family Dental in December 2020. She attended University of Louisville, and graduated in May 2017 with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Maddie grew up around dentistry because her father is a dentist. That’s where Maddie’s love for dentistry was nurtured.
Maddie currently lives in Zion with her husband, Neil, seventeen chickens, and two dogs—Bourbon and Whiskey. Maddie enjoys traveling, learning to cook new recipes, and time with family.
Jaci rejoined Morton Family Dentistry in December 2020. She is from Union County, KY and an alumni of Murray State University. Jaci graduated the Veterinary Technology program from MSU in 2014, and shortly after discovered her love for dentistry; which brought us to Jaci the first time around in 2015. She states what she loves most about working at Morton Family Dentistry is the quality of care she knows the patients are receiving.
Jaci married her high school sweetheart, Damien; in the fall of 2014. Together they have two energetic boys, Merrick, and Morgan. Jaci is a member of the St. Agnes Catholic church in Uniontown. When Jaci is not at work she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and in-laws, and watching The Bachelor with her girlfriends.
Emma started with Morton Family Dentistry in August 2018. She is a native of Henderson and graduated from Henderson County High School. Emma is currently attending University of Southern Indiana working towards her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Before joining our team, Emma was a long-term patient. When Emma decided to pursue a career in dental hygiene, she participated in the co-op program at our office through her high school. Emma states that what she loves most about her job is the hands-on experience she is gaining while working towards her degree.
Emma’s passion outside of the office is dancing. One of her proudest moments of her dancing career was dancing in the Disney Christmas Parade in Orlando and appearing on T.V. In her free time, Emma enjoys playing with her White Lab Archie and spending time with her boyfriend.
Katy joined the Morton Family Dentistry team in July 2020. She is a native of Pennsylvania and graduated from Henderson County High School. Katy obtaining her associates of science in Radiography at Henderson Community College. Katy began her health care journey working for a veterinary clinic. Her interest in the dental field began while she was a patient at our office. Katy states what she loves most about her job is the challenge of mastering dental assisting along with interacting with the patients.
Katy and her fiancé Brandon have 4 children, Braxton, Maximus, Maddox and Casey. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, shooting guns, sipping drinks from Starbucks, and visiting her PA family when she can.
Chloe joined the Morton Family Dentistry team in January 2021. She is from Indiana and graduated. From Loogootee high school. Chloe is currently attending University of Southern Indiana working towards her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Chloe started her health care journey as working as a CNA, and then realized how much she loved dentistry by working at her local dentist office. Chloe states what she loves most about her job is the friendly staff and the hands-on experience she is getting before getting her degree.
Chloe currently lives in Evansville while pursuing her career in dental hygiene. When not at work Chloe enjoys leading a women’s ministry at her campus, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her boyfriend and family.
